Behind the blog

How it all started

I started blogging as a creative outlet while studying for my CPA license, then continued throughout my journey toward earning my Doctor of Business Administration. What began as a way to unwind quickly became a true passion, inspiring me to share my experiences with others.

As a petite woman who lifts weights, I’ve always struggled to find clothing that fits well and complements my frame. Through my blog, I hope to empower fellow petites by providing fashion insights, styling tips, and confidence-boosting advice. My goal is to help others embrace their unique style and strength with fashion that feels just right.

FAQ

Look for brands that offer petite sizing, pay attention to proportions, and consider tailoring for a perfect fit. Structured pieces and high-waisted styles can also help elongate your frame.

Stretch fabrics and fitted silhouettes work well to highlight your shape while ensuring comfort. Look for pieces that accommodate muscular curves without being too boxy.

If a piece is almost perfect but needs minor adjustments, tailoring can make a huge difference. Hemming pants, adjusting sleeve lengths, and tapering dresses can refine the fit.

Some great brands for petites include Abercrombie’s petite line, Ann Taylor’s petite line, and Aritzia. Many athletic brands like Lululemon also offer shorter inseams.

Wear what makes you feel great! Experiment with different styles, embrace your body type, and trust your instincts. Confidence is the key to pulling off any outfit.
