What is LTK?
First, we should know what LTK is to understand how to successfully get accepted to LTK. LTK is a platform for brands, creators, and shoppers. The app was built to connect content creators with brands and shoppers. It allows consumers to shop for various products such as apparel, makeup, and home décor. The LTK app has over 5,000 retailers that digital creators can share and recommend to shoppers. There are over 200,000 creators from 100+ countries. LTK states that there are 8 million monthly shoppers from around the world on their app.

What I did to get accepted (back in late 2019)
A few things I did to become an approved creator:
(1) I posted at least 3 times weekly on Instagram a photo or video (we didn’t have Reels back then) about a product and shared the following details:
- What retailer it was from?
- Details such as sizes and color options available.
- Details about cost and any sale going on with that retailer.
- Used LTK hashtags and tagged @shop.ltk.
(2) I posted at least one weekly blog post about either:
- A post about a product I am wearing.
- An upcoming sale
- A collage of hand-picked items.
- Gift guides.
One last suggestion to try.
I don’t know how well it works, but LTK does have an option for creators to make referrals. If you are doing at least the suggestions above and would like extra help, consider asking another creator for a referral. You are welcome to send me a message here if you would like a referral. Please tell me your name and Instagram or blog URL in the message as well.
Good Luck!
