At the end of last year, my brown western boots of many years finally disintegrated. So naturally I needed to replace them. I found a cute pair that both accommodated wide feet & calves and did not break the bank.
I’m not sure how I messed it up. When I was making my purchase, I must have inadvertently clicked on the “red” ones instead of the brown. I write “red” but they are definitely more pink. When I received them I didn’t even notice they were pink. I guess I was so happy with the fit that I didn’t pay too much attention to color; it’s hard to tell in doors.
These pink boots are such a fun color with a little extra design. Like mentioned previously, there is wide feet options. Sizes go by half sizes, but I always size up a half size for closed toe shoes that are not pumps. I’m a regular 5.5 and got a 6 wide. There’s also a little heel, because what short person doesn’t love some extra height?! The boot is breathable (a need for Florida life) and padded.
By the way the brown pair looks lovely online. There’s a bit of blue color in it’s design, I’m so tempted to get them as well…
To sum things up, these boots are at a perfect length for dresses and pants. They are comfortable and are available for wide feet and calves. And of course, I learned that pink is not that bad of a color after all.
