At 44, I am finally a first‑time mom, something I At 44, I am finally a first‑time mom, something I dreamed about for so many years through fertility struggles, heartbreak, and a late‑term pregnancy loss that changed my life forever. There were moments when hope felt impossible, but I kept coming back to Rick Snyder’s Hope Theory. The theory reminded me to hold onto my goal, believe in my ability to reach it, and find new pathways when the old ones close. My goal never changed. I wanted to be a mother. Even when my body could not carry a pregnancy, I learned that the path could look different and still lead me exactly where I was meant to be. I will always be grateful for our gestational carrier. Her strength, her kindness, and the way she carried our daughter when I no longer could gave us the chance to grow our family. Sharing this photo feels meaningful because my fashion page has always been about celebrating seasons of life through style. Today, I am holding my baby girl in my arms, wearing an outfit that reflects a new season filled with softness, gratitude, and hope.
