Conservative Fitness Shorts ⋆ Perfitly Petite

I came from the CrossFit environment where it was really OK to wear booty shorts. In all honesty it is very comfortable to do CrossFit workouts with these type of shorts. Now that I have found other sports that are more out in the public and not in the CrossFit environment (where booty shorts are the norm), I feel it is necessary to seek more appropriate shorts. I still do not want to give up comfort so it has been a bit of a journey to find these appropriate yet comfortable shorts! Below are a couple of my finds and what I like about them:

(1) 90 Degree By Reflex – High Waist Power Flex Yoga Shorts with Side Pocket

Why I love these? First, they are only $27. They are also not see-through! I like that they are longer in length but still stylish. The longer length even gives room for pockets that can actually hold stuff, including your cellphone. There is a higher waistband that gives your waist a more flattering look. I feel the waistband is slightly too long for me but I do have a short torso. I definitely can do hiking and CrossFit in these shorts.

(2) 90 Degree By Reflex – Power Flex Yoga Shorts

These shorts were an amazing find. I was unsure about purchasing these shorts as it was two for $20. I mean how good of quality can they be for $10 each? Well I took the gamble and glad I did! The lighter purple color of these shorts I do not think will be good for my CrossFit or Hiking, but I surely can wear them for yoga. I think the lighter color can be see-through for deep squats and since they are thinner fabric compared to the “Power Flex” shorts above, I can see my panty outline. The black pair has no issues and I felt they could work for my more intense like workouts. Both shorts are really comfortable and I still count these as a great success.

(3) Target’s Women Premium High-Waisted Shorts

These shorts are not long but still conservative. The inseam length is 2.5 inches. They have a comfortable inner brief as well. There are multiple colors to choose from; gray, purple, black, red, and white. I have two pairs of these shorts (red and black).
