I have been having a little obsession with zippers lately. In sewing my favorite is the exposed zipper and with a color that has a little pop. Here are a few of my recent dress favorites with exposed zipper designs.
This first dress has an exposed zipper in the front. It actually zips the entire way. Although the size XS is a little more roomy for me… There is an elastic waist added for that more “flattering silhouette.” Just to make the dress even better, it has pockets as well! The dress comes in four different colors; steel, green, pink and a rust brown color.
Second is an adorable transition dress for spring. It looks cute with and without leggings. I’ve tried wearing it with leggings and boots on a colder day and the look was so fun! The exposed zipper on this dress is on the back of the dress. It says it is a wrap dress but the wrap part is really sewn together so there is no worries about it coming undone.
The third dress is a regular favorite. It has an exposed zipper on the front but with a special extra twist! I love it! It is longer sleeves and crew-neck style which is not really recommend for when you are short. Sometimes you ignore the rules for a cute dress, right?!
